In this video sequence the artists present some of their visual and performative research in Aspern Seestadt, Vienna. The area of the so called “urban field” in the northern part of Seestadt is still under construction – a place between a wasteland and a non-lieu, it represents the discrepancy between the precise planning and the wild nature. Among these there is the figure of the artist as explorer, wandering through this landscape.
The video is part of the joint work between Vasilena Gankovska and Anne Glassner which started in 2019.
