Nenko Balkanski House Museum, Art Gallery Kazanlak, Bulgaria
The exhibition by Vasilena Gankovska explores the visual legacy of late-modernist architecture through painting, photography, ceramics and print, focusing on the cinemas Kosmos in Berlin and Plovdiv. This presentation marks the expanded second chapter of the project, following its first exhibition at Scope BLN, Berlin, in 2022, which was realised with the support of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport.
