In this set of works, Vasilena Gankovska explores different materialities and their relations to light and display.
As taken from the title, the presented works have something in common: they are quick and rather spontaneous water color sketches and clay studies for future big works on canvas or monumental ceramic pieces.
The show was accompanied by an artist talk where the discussion revolved around topics such as materiality, formal aspects of painting and ceramics and their aesthetics.
