of Humour and Satire in Art

The 24. Gabrovo Biennial of Humour and Satire in Art opens on the 17th of May. The theme of this year’s edition is Dimensions of Publicness and covers subjects such as public space, public art, public debate, public broadcasting, public threat and security, public interest. 649 artists from 69 countries sent in 1 212 artworks, out of which the jury selected for participation in the exhibitions 182 works by 150 artists.
