Society & Economy is an artistic–curatorial project that reinterprets the modular museum display model of the Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftsmuseum (Social and Economic Museum), located between 1927 and 1934 in the Vienna City Hall. This “workers’ museum” emerged from the lifelong dedication of the multifaceted, left-wing, utopian thinker Otto Neurath (1882–1945).
